Settings: The Dothraki Sea
In the interior, of the eastern continent (Essos) is the Dothraki Sea, a vast expanse of grassy plains and steppes. The Dothraki Sea is so named due to the fact that the grass grows thick and tall, and this causes the entire landscape to look like a sea of gentle, rolling waves when seen from afar. It is home to the Dothraki, a nomadic horse-riding people, widely-feared for their skill at arms. Even experienced commanders in the Seven Kingdoms acknowledge the dangers of going head-to-head with the Dothraki on an open field.
